Audition Information
Information about auditions, as well as an audition packet, is available
through Christa Jenkins, Chorus Manager, at 618-628-9989.
Prospective members are expected to be able to read music notation and to
have previous choral experience. Bring a prepared solo; an accompanist will
be provided. The solo may range from a folk song or hymn to a concert aria,
but should not be Broadway or popular music. Please arrive ten minutes early
to complete audition form.

Membership and Dues
Members accept a commitment to participate for the entire season. Membership
retention is contingent upon regular attendance at rehearsals and concerts,
and continued vocal-musical proficiency as determined by the Music Director.
Membership dues are $60 per year. Each member purchases his/her own copy of
major works. Copies of other music are provided from the Masterworks Music
library. Markings in Masterworks music should only be made lightly in
pencil. |
