MUSIC MOVERS
New this year are the MUSIC MOVERS!!! Children accepted into
the Music Movers group are 4 and 5 year olds who have shown an interest in
music at any level. Music Movers is not a performance group. The format will
be music and movement, with an emphasis on basic music skills and the
enjoyment of music with a competent singing voice. Through music games and
folk songs children will develop the ability to hear and imitate simple
melodic lines and rhythmic patterns. Basic vocal techniques, including
posture and breathing will also be introduced. If students have officially
started Kindergarten, they will need to audition prior to the season.
Cost for a child to participate in Music Movers is $175 for the entire year.

SUMMER TOUR TO BRANSON, MISSOURI
A summer tour is already planned for Branson, Missouri from Monday, June 11
through Thursday, June 14, 2007. All Intermezzo and Concert
Choir singers are required to attend this trip. |

CHILDREN'S CHORUS REHEARSALS MOVED TO
HOPE CHURCH
The Masterworks Children's Chorus will rehearse at Hope Church at 200 Dapron
in Belleville. Thank you very much to the church for allowing us to
rehearse in their wonderful space. |
